A Graphic Novel for 10-12 Year-Olds
to Learn about the Impact of Climate Change on Freshwater Ecosystems Through an Ecofeminist Lens
The AUMENTA project, funded by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) in 2023, aims to teach children in ecofeminism through eight stories where water and women are the protagonists. The narratives, rich in science and art, illustrate key environmental issues related to freshwater ecosystems and challenge current management practices from an ecofeminist perspective.

The graphic novel includes a teaching guide for collectively reflecting on various environmental issues and their potential mitigation through policies of equality, equity, and justice.

The graphic novel is available for free on our website (in Spanish and Catalan only). Click the buttons to access all materials.
